Instagram user Chan Jae is a 75-year-old grandpa living in São Paulo, Brazil. Jae and his wife wanted to stay connected to their three grandsons Arthur, Allan, and Astro, but their grandkids are spread out all over the world. Chan Jae’s daughter lives in Korea with Arthur and Allan, while his son lives in New York with the youngest grandson Astro. So he came up with a plan.
Using Instagram, Chan Jae draws and paints beautiful watercolor images for his grandkids and his wife writes little stories to go along with them. The combination of art and storytelling offers a beautiful view into their lives and the love they feel for their grandchildren.
