Girl With Down Syndrome Was Told “You Can’t Sing.” Her Response Is Beautiful.

Madison Telvin All Of Me

Despite all of the statistics released by the National Down Syndrome Society, 12-year-old Madison Tevlin proved that those odds don’t apply to everyone!

According to the NDSS, the delay in development impedes one’s ability to express themselves. To express yourself in a vocal way require twice the amount of energy for someone with down syndrome to speak. Even more so, the Down Syndrome Education International says that “Very few people with down syndrome will ever be able to sing.â€

Madison isn’t buying into those facts. She has trumped the data to pursue what she loves most: singing. The song she chose, “All Of Me” by John Legend, was not by accident. She wanted to pick a song that she could really relate to, and this song’s underlying message is unconditional love. What an amazing girl!

Watch Madison sing her heart out! You’ll be inspired by her strength.
