We’ve told you before about Jeremy Miller, the adorable wheelchair-bound boy whose awesome dad crafted his wheels into an amazing Star Wars Halloween costume in 2015; we couldn’t get enough of Jeremy’s amazing ride, so we followed up this year and showed you his jaw-dropping Ghostbusters vehicle! But it turns out, Jeremy wasn’t the only trick-or-treater with an amazing wheelchair this Halloween!
In fact, Ryan and Lana Weimer have started an entire nonprofit just for creating amazing wheelchair-based Halloween costumes. They call their organization Magic Wheelchair.

According to the Magic Wheelchair site:
Ryan and Lana Weimer [are parents to] five children, three of whom were born with Spinal Muscular Atrophy, which requires the use of wheelchairs for the entirety of their lives.

Each Halloween, Ryan made the biggest, ‘baddest’ costumes he could for his sons, Keaton and Bryce, for many years. Once news of these costumes spread, Ryan began receiving requests from parents around the world asking if he would transform their kids’ wheelchairs into “magic”… and then, in 2015, Ryan and Lana decided to make that happen and started the non-profit organization that seeks to put a smile on the face of every child in a wheelchair.

This year alone, Magic Wheelchair made 25 epic costumes in 11 states, including a group of 20 kids from a Boys and Girls Club who together created a Batmobile.
