20-Yr-Old Girl Bullied For Head-To-Toe Moles Could Be Crowned Miss Universe.

From the time she was a small child, Evita Delmundo was bullied relentlessly.

Evita has a skin condition that causes large, hairy moles to grow all over her body. When she was in primary school, kids hurled insults like ‘monster’ and ‘chocolate chip cookie’ without remorse at her… but now the 20-year-old has learned to embrace her differences.

“In primary school, no one wanted to be friends with me,”said Evita. “It broke my heart. I was a lonely girlâ€

Everything began to change for Evita when she was 16. She attended a church camp in the Philippines where she found faith and a brand new understanding of the beautiful girl she was created to be and the beauty she already had.

“This was probably the first time I truly started accepting who I was, how I look,” she said in an interview with Elle Malaysia.

The moment Evita began embracing herself, total strangers began to embrace her too. Evita started an Instagram account last year showcasing her outer beauty and inner self confidence despite her appearance.

She’s served as an inspiration to thousands struggling with their self-confidence.

Now the Malaysian, who works part-time at a local cafe for cats, is defying the people who taunted her by auditioning for Miss Universe.

Her audition for Miss Universe Malaysia was on June 17, and she’s currently waiting to find out if she’s progressed to the next round or not.

But even if she doesn’t succeed, Evita says that it won’t dent her newfound confidence and she’ll continue to enter other beauty pageants in the future.
