There’s something so special about oldies music. The tunes just make you feel good, tap your feet, and sing along.
While plenty of songs nowadays are catchy, oldies call to mind a simpler time, without smartphones and jam-packed calendars. Sam Black is just 27 and when he walked out to audition for the judges of “The X Factor UK,” they probably never saw his song choice coming.

Wearing skinny jeans, a leather jacket, and a flimsy t-shirt, he didn’t look like a typical oldies fan – but he surprised them all with Dion DiMucci’s “Runaround Sue.”

As soon as he began singing, the judges were clearly impressed.

He even worked in some adorable toe-tapping choreography that matched with the cheerful, old-timey song.
When all was said and done, Sam got four yeses and tons of encouragement from the judges. Nicole even said he was a “star.”

And fans online agree saying he was a “class act,” one person even said that Sam reminded them of Elvis!
