Street Musician Calls Out To Pedestrian, But She Amazes Everyone When She Joins Performance.

Located in Lower Manhattan, Washington Square Park provides acres of space for family picnics, parades, cultural events, and pretty much any other outdoor activity you can think of. It’s also a popular gathering spot for street performers and musicians to put their talents on public display, and once in awhile they’ll bring up an audience member to join in the fun.

That’s exactly what happened on a fall day in 2014, when the lead singer of The Connections drew a woman from the crowd to help them out with Smokey Robinson’s hit, “Ooo Baby Baby.â€

And man, did she ever!

The amazing crooner was later identified as Abbe Rivers, and the range in her voice is incredible!

She played as enthusiastically to the crowd as her fellow musicians, and though she appears to have been selected at random, Rivers and The Connections make music together as well as if they’d been together for decades.

“Love when people dare to just join in and sing a song like that! Cool moment!” a viewer on YouTube posted.
