Rescuers from Hope For Paws got a call in early April concerning two stray pit bulls, fighting for their lives.
They were hiding in a truck yard, living underneath a bunch of 18-wheelers and in a pit of rubble.
The team immediately took action by going to the site and compelling the dogs to “let them save them.” With treats, leashes and a lot of petting, the selfless rescuers eventually got the dogs out of the horrible situation and to the animal hospital.
The pups, later named ‘Lois and Clark,’ began warming up to the idea of human contact soon after. To see their tails wagging couldn’t be more heart-warming!
