Watching an 80-year-old man lying on his belly and sledding down the slope is something you don’t see every day. With the song “Danger Zone” from the movie soundtrack of “Top Gun” added to the video, it presents a perfect scene.

As he cruises down the street, this man’s joy proves that you are never too old to have fun. While most people that age are creaking, moaning, and groaning, he is busy being a kid again. When his son, Joshua Wolfe, posted the short clip, he probably had no idea it would become a motivational video.

Take a page from Joshua’s dad’s book if you’re stuck in a rut and feeling your age. Grab that old sled out of the shed and ride down the nearest slope! Hold on tight, and go for it. Do use caution, and please don’t attempt anything beyond your physical capabilities, but getting out and enjoying life is key.

Whether your passion is to enjoy a round of golf, ride your childhood sled, or take a walk around the block, do it. Although growing old typically leads to slowing down, it doesn’t mean you have to stop having adventures. Get out there and keep enjoying life! And who cares if you get to the bottom of the hill and need help standing up? Take the ride. After all, isn’t life all about enjoying the ride?

Please share if you enjoyed watching this man’s enthusiasm for life.
