When Tamie shared this video, her goal was to help Betty retire. Still, she recognized just how lofty of a goal she had set. So, when the video started to reach well over a million views, and countless people started to donate money, she was absolutely floored! As of this writing, $332,940 has been raised. Needless to say, Betty was also floored, something you can see below.

To think, Betty likely wouldn’t have the ability to retire soon had this mom and son not been at the restaurant that day. As if that isn’t amazing enough, they later learned that Betty lives surprisingly near them. This is something they found out while sharing a meal with her. In other words, Betty gained the funds to retire and friends for life!
