In her video, the dog seemed pretty quiet and calm — that is, until Mom said a specific phrase in her silliest voice. Before the words had finished coming out of her mouth, Maverick was already scooting across the floor!

“I’m a hap-hap-happy boy!” the woman said.

This Labrador’s bout of the zoomies had him running around the living room before jumping up onto the couch next to his owner. Mom was laughing so hard, she couldn’t even repeat the phrase. This might have been a good thing, though — who knows what this crazed pooch would have done next!

Over 12 million people have watched this silly clip online. Commenters thought it was too funny!

“You have a SKEDADDLER,” one person wrote.

Another chimed in, “The first two words outta your mouth and he was already starting up his engine.”

After seeing this video of the goofy Labrador getting the zoomies, many users clamored for more Maverick content! His owner was happy to oblige. In another clip, she revealed that there’s more than one phrase that gets this dog excited.

“What time is it?” Mom asked the pooch.

This seemed to get the Labrador’s attention, but he wasn’t in full zoomies mode just yet. As she continued to ask, though, he became more and more animated. Then, when she finally revealed what time it was, it became clear why Maverick was so thrilled.

“Is it suppertime?” the woman said.

This time, the Labrador’s zoomies took him straight to his food dish, where he started bouncing up and down on his front paws in anticipation. He couldn’t wait to eat!

That’s one of the things we love about dogs: it doesn’t take much to make them happy. As long as they have food, exercise, and lots of affection, they’re ecstatic! We could learn a thing or two from our pups.
