A mom trying to get her kids in bed at a reasonable hour is apparently no match for a dog with the nighttime zoomies! Jen Derham caught some great footage of her four-legged friend running around like a maniac just as her children were about to wind down. His boundless energy was contagious! As soon as the pooch decided he wanted to play, all the little humans in the house seemed to get a second wind. These kids were laughing so hard, there was no chance of getting them to sleep anytime soon!

Instead of getting upset, Mom decided to post the hilarious situation on social media. Her clip of the dog’s zoomies-fueled antics was way too entertaining! Within moments, he had the kids racing around after him. This pup didn’t seem to realize that he was completely derailing Jen’s efforts to get the children ready for bed. Judging by his wagging tail, he was just happy to have someone to play with.

Try not to laugh while watching this dog’s bedtime zoomies!

“When you’re trying to settle the kids & the dog has other ideas,” Mom wrote in the caption of her video.

Over five million people have watched this hysterical clip online. Commenters loved seeing this goofy dog bounding around with the zoomies. One person suggested that the pooch may have been hamming it up just to keep the kids laughing!

“Dogs know when we laugh and they purposely do things that they know will make us laugh which makes this even more precious,” they wrote.

Another marveled, “He’s so big and sooo gentle. You can tell he is living for the giggles. I’m sure this is a core memory to the whole family.”

This dog may sometimes make things more difficult for Mom at bedtime, but who can get mad at him when his zoomies bring so much joy to the household?
