“What Does The Cow Say?” Cutest Golden Retriever Ever Demonstrates

A golden retriever dressed in a cow costume.

When this golden retriever wears her cow costume, she commits herself to the bit! One dog mom caught the sweetest footage of her four-legged friend, Sunday, dressed in her bovine best. This pup’s crocheted hat had horns and little cow ears, making it the perfect disguise. However, it was the pooch’s impression of the farm animal that really took her getup over the top!

“What does the cow say?” Mom prompted the dog. “Say, ‘Moo!'”

The golden retriever replied with her best cow impersonation, and it was pretty impressive! While she didn’t exactly say, “moo,” her gentle howl was a delightful variation. Around nine million people have watched this precious video online. Commenters thought it was way too adorable to see Sunday pretending to be a cow!

“We love a bilingual queen,” joked one user.

Another chimed in, “That is the cutest cow in the whole wide world!!”

It looks like Sunday actually has more than one cow costume. In another clip, Mom dressed her pet up in a very cute cow-tfit that included a spotted hood. Once again, the golden retriever let out the sweetest little “moo” you’ve ever heard. She really is a master of impressions!

Sunday isn’t the only golden retriever to have impersonated a cow on the internet, though. A dog named Todd gave it his best shot while wearing pretty much the exact same crocheted hat the other pooch wore in the first video! However, he took a different approach with his “moo.” Instead of a soft howl, Todd went with a deep, throaty groan.

“The DNA results are in…” his owner joked in her caption. “Todd is 100% mootriever.”

These certainly are some talented dogs! We hope they received plenty of treats for their efforts.
