True Art Takes Time: “What 80 Hours Of Woodburning Looks Like”

It’s amazing what can be created with the use of wood and a little hard work — or 80 hours worth of hard work, rather. From little trinkets to elaborate fairy castles, our imaginations are truly the limit when it comes to what we can create. Well, that and the talent it takes to actually make those creative ideas a reality. It’s not easy, as Misty Mountains Pyrography can attest.

As you can see on her social media and Etsy account, she creates all sorts of beautiful art through woodburning. In fact, she’s set to create maps of each state. That said, her work isn’t entirely based in reality. She also finds inspiration in The Lord of the Rings series. In the video below, she shows off her recreation of Bag End.

“Stopp the little details! This is incredible,” someone writes in reply to the above video, another adding, “That is the coolest woodburning I’ve seen.”
