Doctor Has Sweetest Way Of Welcoming Newborn Into The World

Most people don’t remember anything about the day they were born. However, thanks to this thoughtful doctor, one newborn child now has a very special video to look back on from his first moments on Earth! In order to commemorate this precious occasion, the OB-GYN delivered a heartwarming welcome speech to baby Giovanni and his family. Mom was touched by his beautiful words!

In a heartwarming clip on social media, the doctor held the newborn up to the camera so that, one day, Giovanni would be able to see himself when he was first born.

“I’m Dr. Bridgewater, and I wanna introduce you to yourself,” he said.

Next, the doctor gently handed the newborn to his mother so that she could hold him. Dr. Bridgewater took a moment to acquaint the baby with his parents.

“So, over here I’m gonna pass you to your mother,” he explained. “Because this is that wonderful, beautiful lady that gave you life. From the moment that you were conceived to the moment every step of the way that you grew, she was there making sure the path was clear and all the work was done.”

Dr. Bridgewater didn’t forget about Dad in his speech.

“Over there is Daddy,” he told the infant. “He’s the rock, he’s the cornerstone and the foundation, and he’s gonna give you a great life also.”

Once the introductions were over, the doctor led everyone in singing Happy Birthday to celebrate the newborn’s first day of life. What an unforgettable way to welcome this baby into the world!

As the doctor concluded this adorable video, he left the newborn with a final message.

“So, as you grow older, look on this to know how we prayed for you, how we hopefully blessed you, and one day you’ll turn around and pass all that forward,” he said.
