Getting distracted at work is usually frowned upon, but we always make exceptions when there are four-legged friends involved! In the middle of a winter storm, weatherman Jim Cantore took a moment to play with a hilariously hyper dog. A heart-melting video shared by The Weather Channel shows the pair romping in the snow together. We can’t tell who was more excited!

In the precious clip, the weatherman was eager to play with the rambunctious dog. Despite the storm, Cantore dropped down on all fours to get on the pooch’s level. He began scooping up snow to toss at the animal. This game seemed to delight the energetic pup, who kept running around and wagging their tail.
In his effort to befriend the dog, the weatherman started acting like one. Not only did Cantore get on his hands and knees, but he also tried barking at the animal. At one point, he even wiggled his behind as though he were wagging his tail!
“I wish I had a tail,” he joked.
Eventually, playtime had to come to an end. However, interacting with this friendly dog definitely seemed to have brightened the weatherman’s day. We know that watching the video brightened ours!
