In case you haven’t noticed, winter is in full force all around the United States. Even places that don’t typically get snow storms have gotten their fair share of them. Part of the fun in all of this snow is getting the chance to see how our animal friends react! There are a lot of great videos, but this one of a tiger very well may be the best yet.

This hilarious moment takes place at The Wildcat Sanctuary in Sandstone, Minnesota. According to their website, it’s their mission to “provide a natural sanctuary to wild cats in need and inspire change to end the captive wildlife crisis.” In other words, they’re home to a number of massive felines! To help their tiger, Dash, have some winter-time fun, they surprised him with a snowman. See how he reacted in the video below!
As soon as Dash enters the room, all of his attention goes to the new, unfamiliar object. He’s quick to inspect it and is even quicker to start playing with it. As the sanctuary points out, many of his mannerisms resemble that of a house cat. Needless to say, just about everyone who sees this video gets the sudden urge to pet a tiger.
This Massive Tiger Transforms Into a House Cat the Moment He’s Able to Play With a Snowman
“It’s easy to see domestic cat-esque characteristics in tiger Dash as he bats around enrichment in his indoor bedroom,” the caption for this video reads. “After sufficiently destroying his snowman, it was back out to his free roaming habitat for more snow-filled fun!”
Speaking of more snow-filled fun, this isn’t the only video the sanctuary shared of Dash. The video above also shows him playing around with a giant ball. This time, he’s able to appreciate all of the snow that’s fallen on the ground.
“IF NOT FRIEND, WHY ORANGE AND WHY FRIEND SHAPED,” someone jokingly asks in reply to the first video of Dash, another adding, “My toxic trait is believing I could pet this one and not get bit.”
