When it comes to watching kids, some husbands are gold, and some are … less than. More often than not, a dad’s idea of watching the kids involves napping together. When they have to interact with their kids, they might become creative. That is when things can get a bit scary. Simcha Bonnardel had one request of her husband: watch the kids.

She walked in to see her small daughter launch herself off the tall headboard. Thankfully, it was into her husband’s waiting arms. That doesn’t make the image any less frightening. What is the dog doing? Is he the safety observer? While guided play is nice, I’m not sure this would pass all the safety guidelines. Simcha may be married to a large child.
Scrolling through this family’s videos will give you many smiles. The one constant I noticed is that no matter what pranks and questionable activities are happening, both parents are present and engaged. So, while we have a laugh and “question” the safety bonafides, the kids are happy and well-cared for. There is plenty of laughter and interaction. You have to admit, seeing the kids perched on the headboard with that silly dog is awfully cute and funny.

If you’re a parent, take one lesson from this: enjoy your kids and have fun as a family. Toss them around and offer a soft landing. If you break them, their little bones heal quickly (just kidding). Jump on the bed. Have Nerf wars. Play tag. Let the dog push them off the headboard.
The one constant that all children need in their lives is love. You can follow the antics of this family on Instagram.
Please share if you think the dog pushed them.
