Before the procedure could begin, Ganuk the polar bear had to be placed in a cage. He was then instructed to stretch his front paw out through an opening in the enclosure. Once the animal was in position, the vet was able to use his tools to collect the necessary images. With the exception of trying to chew on part of the equipment at one point, Ganuk was surprisingly compliant throughout the process!

Of course, it probably didn’t hurt that there was a second person feeding the creature from a squeeze bottle while the vet performed the X-ray. We’re not sure what kind of liquid was inside, but the animal certainly seemed to enjoy it!

Internet users agree: this bear was a trooper during his X-ray!

Canadian streaming service CBC Gem shared this clip from Arctic Vets on social media, where it has received around a million views. Commenters were truly impressed by how well Ganuk the polar bear listened during his X-ray!

“As a tech… this polar bear behaves better than MOST people’s pets,” wrote one user.
