Lola is an English bulldog puppy. She’s a tiny, rotund little animal who will be spoiled rotten. That wasn’t the original plan, but Dad has his own set of plans for the new dog he never wanted. Day 1 was fine. He was helping her “settle in.” He worried that her collar was too tight. There were plenty of snuggles. He even worked with her on potty training,
Day 2 sealed the deal, and he is beyond smitten. Dad allowed the new dog to interrupt his dinner. He laid out a puppy pee pad to avoid accidents in the house. At some point, her new nickname became “My Love.” He was amazed at her intelligence and even called her a prodigy.
This is the man who said he didn’t want the new dog. It took Lola exactly 0.00002 seconds to win his heart. Lola is just getting started on her journey as a dogfluencer. The English bulldog is a gentle breed that looks tough as nails. It is short and stout, with bulging muscles everywhere except its wrinkly head. Although adults can weigh as much as 50 pounds, they are energetic and enjoy exercise. They do not do well in the summer heat but enjoy long walks in spring, winter, and fall.
