“I Think My Grandbaby Is An Old Lady”

Images show Little Wynter, who acts like an old lady and she

Children begin to develop traits, habits, and quirks that let parents and grandparents see what they’ll be like when they’re older. For WynterSky’s MawMaw, the signs are evident. Her granddaughter is an old lady baby. Wynter will sit anywhere, on any outing, like a tired old lady.

Her MawMaw likes to keep moving. She is active for a grandma. Wynter is channeling all of her MawMaw’s age like the portrait of Dorian Gray. Wynter is tired. She is slow, and she needs to sit. This tiny toddler is an old lady baby who acts like she is already 85 years old.

When it comes to being an old lady baby, Wynter is not alone. Kala is only two, but her mom says she acts like she is 40. This youngster seems to have her roles reversed. She is acting like the mom. She begins by telling her mom she needs a jacket. When mom drops the car key on the stairs, she asks Kala to pick it up. Either my computer is running exceptionally slow tonight, or Kala moves like an 80-year-old bending down to pick up that key.

If you’re a parent with an old lady baby, prepare yourself. They tend to think they are the “adult supervision” we desperately need. When they’re around, don’t plan on doing anything fun! They will frown and fuss about rollerskating, knockerball, downhill skiing, and anything that promises you laughter, joy, and maybe a broken bone.

Even though these kids are old before their time, they do still manage to be kids. I can attest that they are a joy to raise. It was a broken left elbow rollerskating and a broken right femur doing knockerball BTW.
