Heavy rains had flooded the neighborhood streets. Everything outside was wetter than wet. Figuring the kids might opt for an indoor activity, Taylor let them entertain themselves. SPLASH US! Standing on the curb next to a relatively deep puddle, the girls held up a sign that urged passing motorists to splash them. Having their devices taken away might be the best thing that ever happened to these kids.
You may wonder how this ties into people’s mental health. People arrive in the neighborhood tired and frustrated after a hard day at work. Seeing two kids holding up a sign asking the drivers to do something reckless and fun is priceless.

No worries. No bad feelings for drenching a poor pedestrian. Just good, wholesome fun and happy smiles for the giver and the receiver. How many smiles or good old-fashioned belly laughs do you think these kids generated? Every time a vehicle passes and they get drenched, they are laughing. Did you notice the twofer? The white Dodge Ram truck must have had a terrible day because he doubled around for a second pass!
Please share this wholesome fun.
