Roxy began her day by hopping into a boat with her guide in order to search for jaguars. While looking for these majestic creatures, the wildlife photographer spotted some other animals worth capturing on camera. For example, she found a caiman lounging on a fallen tree in the water. These reptiles are related to alligators, and they definitely look it!

This photographer also filmed winged wildlife in her travels. She caught some truly amazing footage of a cormorant plucking a fish out of the water!

Eventually, Roxy spotted a jaguar napping in a nearby tree. Unfortunately, this animal didn’t seem like they were going to move any time soon. Although the sleeping creature was undoubtedly beautiful, it wasn’t the most cinematic situation for the wildlife photographer to film. Roxy and her guide decided to keep searching instead of waiting for the jaguar to wake up.

Then, the wildlife photographer got some great closeups of a jaguar taking a relaxing dip in the water. She even caught one of these big cats in the middle of a huge yawn!

It’s always fascinating to learn more about other people’s careers. After watching Roxy’s video, being a wildlife photographer seems pretty cool!
