Promise is an Australian shepherd who lives with her human Mom, Mary. You may already know how intelligent Aussie shepherds are. The American Kennel Club (AKC) rates them as one of the most intelligent dog breeds. They are easy to train and eager to please. When Mary works away from home, Promise performs house dog chores to stay busy.

When we say Promise does chores, we aren’t lying. A typical day begins with her saying goodbye to her human Mom. She gets right to work making the bed. Once that is done, it is time to feed the kitties, which is difficult with no opposing thumbs. As the house dog finishes each task, there is another waiting.
When Promise heads in to tidy the kid’s room, she pauses in the doorway and sighs heavily. Entering the room, she begins gathering the dirty laundry. The chores of a house dog can be grueling.
Then, it’s off to the laundry room to load the washing machine. While the clothes are washing, Promise heads to the kitchen to load the dishwasher.
Hauling trash is a job no one likes, but she grabs the bag and takes it out. Grabbing the broom, Promise sweeps all the floors.
Dogs hate vacuum cleaners, but Promise dutifully runs the dreaded machine to clean all the carpets. Finally, the chores are complete! There is enough time to relax by the door before her Mom gets home.
While it is impressive to watch Promise do all her chores, her Mom says she works from home, and they do the chores together. This video was made for fun, so she hopes you enjoyed it.
