There’s more potato news from KFC, and this time, it’s a brand-new menu item in the United States. KFC announced its new “Dunk It Bucket” on March 17, just ahead of the NCAA Tournament. And it’s the first new bucket in nearly a decade. That’s exciting on its own. But, KFC upped the craving factor by introducing Mashed Potato Poppers for the first time in the US.

“The quadruple-threat Dunk It Bucket is packed with KFC’s hand-breaded Original Recipe® Tenders, Secret Recipe Fries and crispy Mashed Potato Poppers with your choice of craveable sauces – because more dunking and more sauce means more deliciousness,” KFC shared in a release.
Fans Are Ready To Try This New KFC Menu Item
The Dunk It Bucket will be available in single servings for $7 or in the Double Dunk It Bucket to feed the family for $25.
Sauce options include Warm Gravy, Comeback Sauce, Honey BBQ, Honey Mustard, Sticky Chicky Sweet and Sour Sauce, Classic Ranch, and Buffalo Ranch.
Snackolator shared the news on Instagram, and followers are ready. They posted, “Fried Mashed Potato Bites are absolutely diabolical, and I need 20 immediately!”
They added, “The Mashed Potato Bites are exactly what you’d think – fried bites of mashed potatoes served with a cup of gravy… what’s not to like?!”
