A Talking Dog?! Husky Imitates Everything Mom Says With Impressive Accuracy

People often wonder what their dog would say if they could talk. For Pluto the Husky’s mom, that dream has become a reality. For now, Pluto is a talking husky, although he more closely resembles a parrot in his speech patterns. He is speaking his mind… well… his mom’s mind. Typically, detecting actual words in similar videos can be a stretch. While Pluto needs to work on his enunciation, his words are clear and easy to understand. When Pluto’s mom asks him if he can repeat words for her, the look he gives her says more than any words. His eyes say, “Seriously, mom? You know I can.”

When they began with “hello,” Pluto repeated the word emphatically. The pace picked up, and the pair went through several words and phrases. The list includes, “How are you?,” “I love you,” “Thank you,” and “Yummy.” Pluto’s mom had him repeat “I love you” to earn an extra treat. Pluto was delighted with himself.

English isn’t his only language. He is also fluent in Nepali. Pluto is a very intelligent talking husky. His mom shares videos on their YouTube channel, including this message from him. You can learn about Pluto’s favorite foods, games, and other neat things about his spoiled lifestyle. Pluto conveys his thoughts and opinions well. His mom has complete conversations with him frequently.

Animals do have vocal cords. Surprisingly, a dog’s vocal cords differ slightly from a human’s. The problems they experience with pronunciation are attributed to the shape of their mouth. Dogs don’t move their tongue and lips like humans, making some words challenging to pronounce.
