Adam Levine was one of the original coaches on the long-running show, filling a red chair for the first 16 seasons. He returns with three previous wins in Seasons 1, 5, and 9. Although third in the race for the most wins, behind Kelly Clarkston (4) and Blake Shelton (9), he has always been one of the most popular coaches. His “rivalry” with Blake Shelton is legendary. One of the messages sent to the singer was from his arch-nemesis urging his return!
And speaking of legends… the rest of the coaching lineup for Season 27 includes John Legend, Michael Bublé, and Kelsea Ballerini. Legend and Bublé are returning coaches, while Ballerini is new. She has a wealth of experience, including a previous stint as an advisor on Team Kelly. During season 16, she was a guest coach for Kelly Clarkston during the Battles. She was also a coach on the web-based spinoff, Comeback Stage, working with contestants who auditioned but weren’t selected for The Voice.
Adam Levine left The Voice in 2019 to spend more time with his family. He needed the break then, but he says he is well-rested and ready to return. He is looking forward to the challenge and will hit the stage with winning in mind. The Voice fans are ready to welcome him back. Share this if you’re happy about Adam’s return.
