A pig walking around on the farm.

When times are tough, you find out who your real friends are — and, sometimes, that they have four legs and a snout! A woman was totally touched by how her pig responded when her family had to clean up their farm after a hurricane. She shared a hilariously sweet video on social media showing her porcine pal helping out during the stressful situation. What a thoughtful animal!

In the woman’s footage, she explained that she and her kids were picking up branches around the farm after the wind had brought them down. Apparently, Brennan the pig saw what was happening and wanted to help clean up the hurricane debris, too! He started picking up sticks with his mouth and dropping them into a pile. Mom was so proud of his efforts!

We started cleaning up after hurricane milton and to my surprise, I see Brennan, my potbelly pig, helping by picking up debris and putting it in a pile. You cannot tell me that pigs are not smart. #fyp#homstead#pigsoftiktok#pigs#hurricanemilton#milton

All the animals survived. They’re a little stressed out. We’ve got lots of debris and a lot of things to clean up, but everyone is OK. We lost power a couple times and the middle of the night, but it eventually came back on most of my area is without power. Thank you so much for your thoughts and prayers and vibes. We are extremely lucky. Unfortunate. Please keep the coast in your thoughts though because they need it the most. #fyp#chickensoftiktok#horsesoftiktok#goatsoftiktok#homstead#hurricanemilton#milton
