Adorable: Teeny-Tiny Puppies Start Their First Day Of K-9 Training School

Puppies following a K-9 Unit trainer.

It’s hard to believe that these precious puppies will one day become police dogs in the K-9 Unit. Right now, they’re small enough to scoop up with one hand! However, the York County Sheriff’s Office in South Carolina just shared on Instagram that these tiny pups have already begun their training. They posted the most adorable video from the very first day of school!

According to the clip, these pint-sized pooches were only six weeks old. However, what they lacked in experience, they more than made up for in energy! Tails wagging, the puppies dutifully followed their K-9 trainers. Although their steps were a bit wobbly, you could tell they were doing their best.

In addition to running around, the sweet puppies also did some serious sniffing at K-9 school. However, the best part of the day was obviously recess! That’s when the little animals finally got to let loose and have some fun. Footage shows a pair of pooches using their break to wrestle each other. We bet they had the best time!

Over 16 million people have watched these puppies on their first day of K-9 training. Some commenters were pretty jealous of the officers who got to work with these teeny animals!

“Why wasn’t this mentioned on career day?” wrote one user.

Another jokingly offered, “I’m available to cuddle the babies during their nap breaks.”

If you want to see even more heart-melting footage of these puppies, the York County Sheriff’s Office also shared a video update when the creatures were only a month old. In the clip, these tiny dogs climbed on top of each other for warmth, forming the cutest puppy pile ever during naptime! Their mom, Pepper, also made an appearance.

We wish these puppies all the best as they continue their K-9 training!
