Pep rallies are a beloved tradition at many high schools across the country. During the pep rally, the entire school gathers together to watch cheerleaders perform and listen to coaches speak, getting pumped for whatever upcoming games the school’s teams may have. At some schools, it’s also a popular tradition to have one pep rally that’s a little, well, different. That special pep rally is devoted to making everyone laugh by having the football players try their hands at cheerleading in front of a crowd! The result is always hilarious.

In the video below, cheerleaders at Alta High School teamed up with the school’s football players for a special Homecoming performance. First, the cheerleaders come out and show off their “masculine” dance moves while dressed as football players, then the guys come out in cheer uniforms and stumble through a routine choreographed by one of the cheerleaders. People in the comments section just can’t get enough of the hysterical struggle:

The best part has to be when the football players lift the cheerleaders into the air while the cheerleaders kick their legs out… and then the cheerleaders get behind the football players to get them to do the same! The results are noticeably different.
