Last year, the woman’s dad found himself in the position to rescue a pelican. Dad first came across the creature at the fishermen’s port. The injured bird sought refuge here, and Dad was more than happy to offer a helping hand. As a result, Dad and the pelican have become the best of friends over the course of a year. Pelicans aren’t exactly known for being friendly to humans. That’s why it’s all the more spectacular that this friendship is still going strong. Dad feeds the pelican fish, and the bird watches over Dad as he naps outside. Plus, they love to swim together and lounge near the gorgeous water — what more could you ask for in a friendship!?
