In one mesmerizing video, Miranda showed off a leaf painting called “In the Breeze.” This stunning piece of artwork depicts a dark forest pathway lined with orange trees. For her canvas, she’d chosen a pale green maple leaf. She included a stunning artist’s statement in the caption of her post.

Each delicate leaf drifts in golden whispers, as the forest breathes in hues of amber and rust. This painter uses many different leaves in her art.

Miranda’s work can be found on a variety of different leaves, such as oak or Boston ivy. Some of her other videos include snippets of her process as well as the finished product. For example, she recorded herself while painting “Autumn’s Welcome” on a beech leaf. Her swift strokes make this delicate operation look almost easy!

“Autumn’s Welcome” Painted on a preserved beech leaf! Beech is a genus of deciduous trees in the Fagaceae family. It’s native to temperate Eurasia and North America and has 13 accepted species. Beech trees are known for their smooth gray bark and small, edible, triangular nuts. They are also shade-loving trees, with beech saplings growing in shaded forests. Beech is associated with femininity and is often considered the queen of British trees. In Celtic mythology, Fagus was the god of beech trees. #artcollection #landscapepainting #mountainart #leafpainting #acrylicpainting #natureart #natureartist #preservedleaf #leafart #fineart #handpainted #leaves #acrylicart #artistsoftiktok #artist #fallvibes #autumn

Additionally, Miranda shares a little bit about the different types of trees she works with in many of her posts. While showcasing “Autumn in the Park,” which she painted on an oak leaf, she included some very interesting facts about oak trees.

“Oaks are often called the cathedrals of the natural world,” she wrote. “They can live for centuries and share a common shape, being rounded with a broadly spreading crown.”

They can live for centuries and share a common shape, being rounded with a broadly spreading crown. They have spirally arranged leaves, often with lobed edges, and a nut called an acorn, borne within a cup. #artcollection #landscapepainting #mountainart #leafpainting #acrylicpainting #natureart #natureartist #preservedleaf #leafart #fineart #handpainted #leaves #acrylicart #artistsoftiktok #fall #fallvibes #autumn
