On June 20, TDBBS LLC announced on the FDA website that certain bags of Green Tripe dog treats could be tainted. Pet stores nationwide sold the treats under the “Barkworthies” and “Best Bully Sticks” brand labels online and in stores between February 2024 and May 2024.

Fortunately, no pet parents have reported injuries caused by the treats. However, the company said that “the potential presence of metal objects could pose a health hazard to your dog.” So if your pet has eaten the recalled treats, you should keep an eye on them.

“If you believe your dog has consumed the affected product, you should monitor for any signs of illness [or] unusual behavior and contact a veterinarian in the event of any concerns,” reads the original post.
