Baby Capybara Has Hilariously Relatable Reaction To Punny Dad Jokes

What do dad jokes and a baby capybara have in common? They’re both cute, although Cheesecake wins in any contest. Today, we met Cheesecake, who lives in a house with the folks who run Dark Wings Wildlife. She is in training to be a wildlife ambassador. At Dark Wings Wildlife, she is learning to socialize with several different types of animals and humans. She is also learning to appreciate dad jokes, but that part of her training is a work in progress.

She is excelling in her attitude and side-eye lessons. The baby capybara is already a master at soulful expressions and communicates well without words. She has packed an elephant-sized personality into her tiny little body, which shows in every facial expression and movement. She demonstrates her attitude with her response to another dad joke.

We have one more if you can’t get enough of Cheesecake and her reactions to bad dad jokes.

These ghostly jokes are at an end, but you don’t have to quit here. Read on to find out more about Cheesecake and her friends.

Cheesecake, The Baby Capybara, Has Lots Of Friends

Dark Wings Wildlife wants people to learn about animals and enjoy sometimes misunderstood species. They are working on getting webcams in some of their animal enclosures so people can watch daily activities in real time. They also arrange virtual visits with animals. Virtual interactions allow people to meet the animals, ask questions, choose a toy or interactive activity, and watch them play. Proceeds from the virtual visits go into caring for the animals.

Cheesecake spends time inside as part of her wildlife ambassador training and being outside with her friends. Her best friend is Stevie, a sheltie puppy. She is also friends with Mozzie, the Collie, and Trixie, the pied crow. Pumpkin, the adult capybara, is still getting used to the baby capybara, who can sometimes be annoying. The educational center is also home to Nibbler, the goose, and Bellebottom, the chicken.

DWW shares posts and videos on social media to help people understand the animals in their care. Threads is where you can follow the animals as they rate movies and participate in other fun activities. On Facebook, you can help them choose how to carve Halloween pumpkins for Cheesecake and Pumpkin. They are also on TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram. If you are interested in meeting the DWW crew, they will be at AnimalCon USA in Florida from October 4 to 6, 2024!

Capybaras and some of the animals in the educational programs at DWW do not make good pets, but they are fun to learn about. Be sure to ask about capygrams! If you can’t get enough of these adorable critters, follow their antics on social media.

Please share if you’re in love with Cheesecake’s fabulous side-eye!
