Emilia Sopranzi uses the moniker “That Farmer Barbie” on her social media accounts. She is living her best life, taking care of animals in Hawaii. As a former Forestry worker, she loves the outdoors. That translates well to her little farm and the menagerie of animals she has collected. Her most recent obsession has been a baby mini donkey born on March 21. Nobody was expecting what Emilia found when she inspected the baby donkey’s gums.

We can’t say she is wrong. Those baby donkey gums do look rather deliciously like macarons. Most of Emilia’s fans agreed, but some thought they were closer to a gummy Krabby Patty candy, without the pickle, of course. Both comparisons are accurate, but trust me and go with the macarons. Those Krabby Patty gummies will make you gag.
Through a partnership with a local breeder, Emilia supervises the birth of quite a few adorable mini donkeys. She will foster the babies and acclimate them to human contact during their first weeks of life until they are ready for their furever homes. Ensuring the health and growth milestones for the mini donkeys means checking their gums. That brings us here.

Macarons. There is no doubt about it. Baby donkey gums look like macarons. Even though this is completely cute, Emilia has us all jealous of her life. She gets to watch baby donkey zoomies every day. Baby donkeys adhere to the cat lap rule. Once they curl up on your lap, you can’t move until they do.
Being “That Farmer Barbie” seems to have plenty of perks. If you would like to live this life vicariously, you can follow Emilia on Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
Please share this adorable baby.
