Baby Pulls The Face Of A Lifetime While Trying Sparkling Water For The First Time

When you have a toddler, getting them to try new things can be challenging. While they are at that phase where “everything goes in the mouth,” that isn’t always true for foods. Doctors recommend waiting until the one-year point to introduce different foods and drinks. Rebecca and Joshua Guy did just that. After Baby Margot turned one, they decided to try sparkling water.

Parenting is hard. Kids can be joys or terrors on the same day. For the Guy family, little Margot seems like a dream child. She smiles and is happy. But when Mom tries to get her to drink sparkling water, the baby wants no part of it. The face the baby made pretty much tells the story. But that wasn’t enough, and she immediately spit out the disgusting concoction without even attempting to swallow.

It’s probably a good bet that Mom won’t try that again soon. Becca’s comment under the TikTok post, “Fair to say she wasnt a fan” seems like a wee bit of an understatement. After the taste, the baby turns to look at someone to the side, and her face says, “How could you let her do that to me?” She truly felt betrayed by that taste test!

It is difficult for parents to know what memories will “stick” with young children. Toddlers begin remembering specific events and significant things between the ages of one and two. Hopefully, Baby Margot won’t remember this betrayal and hold it against her Mom forever.

Hopefully, future taste tests will result in a response similar to this toddler’s first pizza bite. Unlike the sparkling water, which brought scorn, pizza brought pure Nirvana. Share this if you relate to Baby Margot.
