These cupcake decorators might be talented, but can they do their jobs blindfolded? That’s what workers at Crave Cupcakes decided to find out in a hilarious video for social media! Employees from all different levels of experience got involved in this goofy challenge, including people from Marketing and Accounting. Some participants surprised us with their skills, while others did exactly as well as you’d expect.

Each employee was asked to follow a very simple set of instructions for this challenge. They would have to apply frosting and sprinkles to one cupcake while blindfolded. While this sounds easy enough, some people definitely struggled to complete the task! Watch the video here.
One person stood out as the winner of this challenge: a specialty cake coordinator who’s been in the business for 20 years. Even though they were blindfolded, they still managed to apply frosting to their cupcake almost perfectly!
Of course, this contestant had a clear advantage over other workers with less experience. An employee from Accounting was barely able to get even a dollop of frosting onto their cupcake. Someone from Marketing had the same issue. Although these two arguably did the worst in the challenge, they were definitely the funniest to watch!
Accounting was the fan favorite.

Someone who surprised a lot of viewers with their talent was a participant who’d been working in retail for two years. Although her cupcake wasn’t perfect, the fact that she managed to apply a generous amount of frosting neatly while blindfolded was very impressive!
Watching this video gave us a new appreciation for people who decorate cupcakes for a living. It’s way harder than it looks!
