When Kyra took her small dog out to enjoy a pleasant fall day, she wasn’t expecting her dog to appreciate the outing. Dogs like being outside and enjoying time with their humans, but Kyra’s dog seems to genuinely appreciate nature. While approaching a wooded area, a soft breeze was helping trees shed their summer leaves. The small dog stopped, and Kyra caught the special fall moment in the video.

The magic moment was surreal. Kyra was recording the gentle falling of the leaves. She noticed her pup had stopped, so she focused on the tiny animal. The dog was watching the falling leaves as they drifted slowly to the ground. The scene evoked feelings of wonder and serenity. Kyra’s post caption says, “How lucky we are that the universe gave us dogs?” We are fortunate, indeed.
Of course, it shouldn’t surprise us that dogs appreciate falling leaves. Many of us have seen videos of happy dogs jumping into leaf piles. Stella is a professional leaf-jumping dog and looks forward to fall when the piles grow high.
Judith takes her leaf jumping to a whole new level when she wears her special butterfly wings!
Watching dogs jump into leaf piles will brighten even the gloomiest of days. If you think raking leaves is a chore you hate, try doing it with the help of a mini dachshund named Sammi. Despite his minuscule size, Sammi delivers a ton of enjoyment for his Mom, Grace Blackford.
When trees shed their leaves, we know the year is winding down. For dogs, fall means joyful leaf-jumping. They will chase leaves and cavort as we try to rake, which lends a good laugh to the tedious chore.
