Comedian and master juggler Ben Langley’s been making audiences laugh for nearly two decades, He even performed in the role of Charlie Chaplin at the Royal Opera House Covent Garden.

And with a resume like that, he definitely didn’t disappoint during his recent audition on Britain’s Got Talent. He used misheard lyrics as the basis for an hysterical act to which all of us can relate.

“I think my little stint now is all about me mishearing lyrics in music,”he tells the judges.

And it all started with “The Lion King,”when he thought “The Circle of Life†was about soccer manager, Arsène Wenger. And to his credit, it does sound like the chorus is moaning his name in the very opening notes of the song.

And he has a whole slew of other pop songs up his sleeve whose lyrics he’s misheard at one time or another. For example, when Abba released its smash hit, “Dancing Queen†in 1976, instead of “Young and sweet, only 17,”Ben heard this:

When “Flashdance”came out in 1983 and songs from the soundtrack, like “What A Feeling,”flooded the airwaves. What songwriter Irene Cara wrote was, “Take your passion.”Ben, however, heard:

Who can’t relate to this? Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and David Walliams obviously can, because by the end of the montage, they were on their feet, laughing and clapping along with everyone in the audience.
