Summer may be over, but the memories will last forever – especially if you had the opportunity to experience something you never have before. Just ask Dallas, who was able to enjoy a wheelchair-accessible swimming pool for the very first time!

This adorable 8 year old has quadriplegic spastic cerebral palsy. According to her mom, Katrina Placzek, this means that she navigates the world in a wheelchair. This isn’t easy, in large part, because far too many places still aren’t accessible for kids like her. For this reason, when Katrina saw the pool at their rental vacation home, known as Tiff’s Place, she couldn’t believe her eyes!
“It was really cool to see the entire house was designed with wheelchair users in mind,” said Katrina.
After an amazing experience at this vacation home, Katrina posted a video on social media to shed a little bit of light on the importance of having more wheelchair-accessible places, just like this one. In the video, you can see little Dallas having an awesome time at the pool – as she should!
Watch Dallas and her mom getting into this awesome pool in the video below, and don’t forget to share with a friend.
