Blind, Autistic Singer Nails Her 2nd “AGT” Performance With An Emotional Ballad.

Lavender Darcangelo wears a sparkly blue dress while singing for the second time on the "America's Got Talent" stage. The stage itself is glowing with various purple lights.

Last month, Lavender Darcangelo got one step closer to making her dreams come true. When she sang “Out Here On My Own,” by Irene Cara for her “America’s Got Talent” audition, everyone fell in love with the blind autistic singer. So much so, in fact, that judge Heidi Klum chose to give her a Golden Buzzer.

We can only imagine the amount of pressure someone must feel during their second performance on such a huge platform. But any nerves Lavender may have felt certainly didn’t show in her emotional rendition of “I Wanna Know What Love Is” by Foreigner. The whole performance was incredible, but the way she belted out the second half of the song was especially moving.

Klum, who has been Lavender’s biggest supporter on the show, couldn’t contain her excitement over how perfect her performance went, urging folks at home to vote for her.

“I am so proud of you,” Klum said. “I love you, Lavender. I feel you when you are singing. I hope everyone in this room felt you. I hope everyone at home felt you.”

Watch Lavender move the audience with her song in the video below.
