Since then, action has been taken to ensure the safety of customers. Now, however, BMW is announcing an important update. More vehicles fall under this recall than they originally thought. That said, as of this writing, the number of vehicles impacted is up to 1.5 million.

Others include China (370,000), France (60,000), Germany (150,000), and Korea (60,000). With the recall expanding, a reminder of what BMW owners can and should do is very much needed.
