Anchorman Bob Herzog is the “Jim Cantore” of Cincinnati’s Local 12 News channel. Bob hits the road with a camera crew when the bad weather hits the southern Ohio town. Bob delivers the news with a slice of humor, especially when the forecast is terrible. The running joke about the Weather Channel’s Jim Cantore is that you should go home and hunker down when he shows up in your town. Bob Herzog has that role in Cincinnati.

During a recent arctic blast, Bob Herzog was out in the streets of Mt. Auburn to provide storm coverage. As Bob and his film crew hopped from one location to the next, he steadily began getting more squirrely. At one point, he thinks opening a snow shoveling business with his cameraman might be good.
Reminding people not to go out was the order of the day. It was said so much that if people were doing a drinking game each time he said it, he worried they would be wasted. People might wonder what is in Bob’s hot chocolate at this stage.
He develops a new method to check snow depth. Throw out the yardstick and grab a rubber chicken. The entire clip was full of snowy puns, some intentional and some not. Bob Herzog’s descent into snow madness wasn’t quite complete, though.
As the video feed cut to a split screen, showing the studio anchors on the left and Bob on the right, he did the unexpected. Lying on the ground in a pile of snow, Bob began making a snow angel. The anchors looked on, amused and probably thankful to be inside looking out.
Please share if you enjoyed watching Bob Herzog’s humorously fun live weather coverage.
