In this area, monsoon season tends to be from June 15-September 30. During this time, folks in the area can expect an increase in thunderstorms, some of which can be dangerous. But when there are moments to safely admire Monument Valley during this change in weather, you will be amazed at the way the area transforms. As a storm rolls into Monument Valley, the sky takes on the most gorgeous shades of blue. It’s incredible to see the way the sky is so dark, all while the surrounding desert is still fairly lit up, making it easy to still appreciate the view.
