Wedding Gown Thrift

A bride’s wedding gown can be one of the most important details for her special day. Not only does she want to look and feel beautiful, but she likely wants to find the perfect dress that is also budget-friendly. Not everyone can spend thousands of dollars on a wedding gown, and some brides will try to find a gorgeous gown on a budget. When Julia Stern Webber walked into a Florida thrift store, she had no idea she’d be walking out with her dream wedding dress and that it would cost only $25. But as soon as Julia spotted the white gown, she knew it was the dress for her, and she had to have it.

“I had tried on many dresses at boutiques and always knew I wanted something more simple but timeless,” she told People.” When I saw this dress in the thrift store, I immediately knew it was the one.”

Julia Found Her Wedding Gown A Year Before The Big Day

She shared a video of her dress on TikTok that quickly went viral. People couldn’t believe it cost her so little, but it looked so elegant.

One wrote, “It is magnificent! Plus, dresses like this stay in style through time, so you won’t look back at your wedding pictures decades from now and feel like they look dated or tacky.”

This person agreed, “I totally LOVE how excited you are about the bargain that looks like a million dollars on you!!! Absolutely beautiful!!!”

Julia’s wedding gown made this person do a double take. “Ma’am I gasped it’s so perfect.”

Julia told People her guests loved the look. “My guests told me that I looked like a princess,” she said. “Many tears were shed because the dress perfectly embodied my personality and vision for the wedding day. Some of my friends even called the event’ their royal wedding’ after seeing me in the dress.”
