Plus, it’s fun to see the names of everyone who showed up to support you on your big day! Over the years, however, the tradition of the guest book has expanded beyond a simple book.

There are lots of fun twists to put on this tradition, but Tara Henderson was happy to keep hers simple. So, when this bride finally got her guest book in the mail, to say that she was surprised would be an understatement. Why? Well, turns out she didn’t get her guest book after all. Rather than getting her guest book, or anyone else’s guest book, Tara got something else entirely. Somewhere in the world, someone put in an order for a book they called Shoulder Meat. The title alone sounds terrifying, but the images inside are anything but. Each page features someone with a literal, small piece of meat on their shoulder.
There is absolutely no explanation for this book. And at the time of writing this article, the creator(s) of Shoulder Meat have yet to come forward and give an explanation. Though, goodness knows we are all dying for one. Perhaps we will one day…
