Bride Impressively Freestyles Vows In “Lose Yourself” Parody

Bride Vows Lose Yourself

When a couple gets married, they vow to love and care for each other for the rest of their lives. Some choose to take traditional vows, and others like to write their own. It is certainly a personal preference and should reflect the couple’s relationship. Rizza-Belen Diaz wanted to make sure her vows were something her husband, Josh Dodson, would never forget. The bride’s vows parodied Eminem’s Lose Yourself, and they are among the cleverest we’ve ever heard. When Rizza-Belen said, “If you had one shot,” we knew we were in for a treat.

Video Of The Bride’s Lose Yourself Vows Was A Viral Sensation

Wedding videographers Jay and Mack Hovland shared the vows on Instagram, where they’ve been viewed 22.9 million times.

“It looks like you captured it. So here I am, palms are sweaty, knees weak, arms are heavy, no vomit on my dress but I do love your mom’s spaghetti,” the clever bride said “I’m nervous, you’re nervous. But on the surface we look calm and ready.”

The bride ended he Lose Yourself vows with a smile and said, “All jokes aside, I’m happy you took your shot and didn’t let a chance blow. I’m so lucky because a Josh Dodson comes once in a lifetime, yo.”

People had never seen a bride rap her vows to Lose Yourself, and they were positively obsessed.

One fan wrote, “Imagine never having seen ‘8 Mile’ but attending this wedding. You would think the bride was losing herself.”

This person threw in some Eminem lyrics of their own, “May I have your attention please… will the newlyweds please stand up, please stand up.”

Plenty of people told Josh never to let go of a bride who vows not to lose yourself.

One commented, “She’s a keeper! That’s an Oscar award winning vow!”

“Hold on to her tight bro,” this person agreed.
