Bride’s Father-Daughter Dance Gets Interrupted By Cutest Guest — Her Golden Retriever

A golden retriever getting in the middle of a father-daughter dance.

Usually, it’s considered a faux pas for a wedding guest to cut in during the father-daughter dance — that is, unless the guest is a golden retriever! Bride Annie Tews shared some totally hilarious footage of her dog, Wrigley, interrupting the special moment. After watching the video, we think it’s safe to say this pooch made the occasion even more memorable. Plus, who could stay mad at this adorable wedding guest?

In the clip, Annie and her dad were sharing an emotional dance when her golden retriever just had to join them. He walked right over to the pair and inserted himself in between them, tail wagging the entire time. Obviously, Wrigley had no idea what he was getting in the middle of. All he knew was that he needed Mom’s attention immediately! Of course, both the bride and her dad stopped to pet the needy dog in the middle of their dance.

Annie’s video of her golden retriever interrupting her father-daughter dance has received over four million views on social media. Commenters fell head-over-heels for Wrigley’s sweet antics. Some were also looking forward to seeing any professional wedding pictures of the special moment.

“The best ‘may I cut in sir’ I have ever seen,” wrote one user. “So adorable.”

“I need the professional pics immediately,” another said.

A third added, “Those pics are gonna be ADORABLE!”

In response to the comments asking for photos, Annie uploaded some truly heart-melting images of her golden retriever getting in the middle of the father-daughter dance. Whereas the video only shows Wrigley from behind, the photographer managed to get some shots of the dog’s face. He looks so pleased with himself!

Getting married is a pretty big deal, and we’re sure it will take this golden retriever some time to get used to sharing his mom. We hope he’ll be ok while Annie’s on her honeymoon!
