Sister Reads Brother’s Hilariously Extravagant “Proposal Plans From When He Was 9” At His Wedding

It can be a great honor when your brother asks you to speak at his wedding. It can also be a great time to roast him for all the times he was mean to you growing up! For this sister, her brother’s wedding allowed her to share something she’s held back since he was 9 years old!

When she starts reading from the clipboard, she laughs and says, “We are 25, and I am a multi-billionaire…” Laughter breaks out among the guests — loud laughter. There are a couple of catcalls, but the sister begins again.

“I am a multi-billionaire who is madly in love with you.” The sister reads from a “proposal plan” her brother wrote when he was 9. The hilarity continues as she reads about a fantastic night in Cabo San Lucus. Her brother must have been quite the romantic when he was 9. That’s amazing since most boys that age still think girls are pretty icky and have cooties.

These are excerpts from a diary (although he probably called it a journal) he had when he was 9. He detailed a plan for a proposal that sounded like a dream date. As a multi-billionaire, his plans include a private jet, a yacht, a butler, and credit cards with unlimited balances. As the embarrassment hits, the brother gets up and fakes an escape from the venue. He quickly returns to his seat as his sister continues the humorous roasting.

There were some romantic bits on the beach that his sister skillfully dot-dot-dotted through. The second day took the couple from Cabo San Lucus to French Polynesia on that imaginary yacht. The brother’s wedding plan included buying his girl “a ton of pearls.” From buying her everything she wants to obeying her every command, he spelled out an elaborate plan. Next, the couple was off to Paris, where a Rolls Royce was waiting to tour the city in style.

Reading the embarrassing reminder from his childhood wasn’t enough. The sister promised to display it for all her brother’s wedding guests to read. The journey ends at the top of the Eiffel Tower, where he finally proposes to her with a $130 million diamond ring. They do tell kids to dream big…
