On November 29, the couple jointly announced their upcoming nuptials in an Instagram post when they shared that Josh popped the question on November 22.
The caption only mentioned the proposal date, but the photo said the rest. In it, the two are standing on a waterside cliff. Josh is on one knee while Hailee leans down and presses her forehead against his. Behind them, the sun sets over soft waves.
Josh Allen made his proposal to Hailee Steinfeld extra romantic by setting up a gorgeous rose-covered arch and creating an aisle with flower tops and sand-filled vases.

The couple began dating in the spring of 2023, but they kept things under wraps until their first official outing that October when they attended a hockey game at the KeyBank Center in Buffalo. They’ve openly shared that the press created “insecurity” in their romance once they went public, but they worked through the troubles while maintaining a fairly private relationship.
A source told People that Josh Allen and Hailee Steinfeld have “been head over heels from the start” and added that “their families are thrilled” about their engagement. It seems that the couple’s fans feel the same.
