Neighbor Saves Family Of 6 From House Fire Minutes Before Roof Caves In.

Nicole and David Salgado of Avondale, Arizona, woke up on New Year’s Day to a loud banging at their door. At first, they thought it was the police, but it turned out to be their guardian angel in the flesh.

Moments earlier, their neighbor, Carolyn Palisch, spotted smoke billowing out of their home. She ran to their door and began pounding on it as soon as she saw the flames coming from their garage.

Thanks to Carloyn’s persistent knocks and shouts, the couple and their four children, who had been “dead asleep,” woke up just in time to escape. Their doorbell camera captured the family evacuating minutes before the roof collapsed. While they lost everything in the fire, they’re just grateful to be alive.

“We have our lives and for that we have to thank Carol!” Nicole wrote.
